New World: Aeternum PvP Bridge
New World: Aeternum PvP Bridge

The console release of New World: Aeternum and the revamp of Cutless Keys were amazing projects Amazon Games had Lost Boys Interactive work on. It has been a great industry experience to continue working on a Triple-A title with everyone.
This is the main bridge that connects the citadel to the rest of the zone. I was tasked with blocking out and creating the shape, scale, destruction, and repair. After blocking out, testing the play space, and player pathing I began the first pass using pre-existing kits from the ancient and pirate styles. The first pass allowed us to see the style and scale of the structure. As I progressed with world building I brought in new assets created for cutlass keys to help integrate it into Citadel and the rest of the zone. Lining the sides and entry with new sunshades and props. The second pass had set dressing and player pathing testing making sure no hangups happened for both players and mounts. I finally did a performance pass to meet game standards and any last touches that contributed to the final result.
