The console release of New World: Aeternum and the revamp of Cutless Keys were amazing projects Amazon Games had Lost Boys Interactive work on. It has been a great industry experience to continue working on a Triple-A title with everyone.
Being the north side of the citadel and adjacent to the world sun the citadel needed a cave area to lead upwards into the central part while still having great lighting and not being a cave in shadow. Using the concept, I created the cave area to be wide enough and have narrow passages of stress for PVP players. Following design and creating areas to have memorable pvp moments. I started with a blockout and tested each area tp make sure players had space for dodging, rolls, running, and mounts. On the first pass, I brought in the desired kits to use and started to define the space. By the second pass, everyone had tested the space and was ready for performance/custom asset additions.
Citadel Cave is just one part of the whole poi of citadel. The location is massive and has so much to see and discover.
